DEVELOPMENT

Ø In 1967, Acesulfame-K was synthesized first time.

Ø In 1983, EU approved its use in food and beverage.

Ø In 1988, FDA approved its use in tabletop sweetener, chewing gum and instant coffee.

Ø In 1992, China approved its use in food and beverage.

Ø In 1994, FDA approved its use in syrup, baked food and dairy product.

Ø In 1995, FDA approved its use in alcoholic drink.

Ø In 1998, FDA approved its use in soft beverage.

ADVANTAGES

Ø Appearance --- White, crystalline powder, virtually odorless.

Ø High Sweeter---- It's 200 times sweeter than a 3 percent sucrose solution.

Ø High Safety ----The safety of Acesulfame-K has been demonstrated enough. Acesulfame-k is non -hazardous and non-toxic, and does not require health warning or information labels.

Ø Good Sensory Properties---- It has a quickly perceptible sugar-like taste that does not linger or leave an aftertaste.

Ø Good Heat Stability---- Its stability in solid form appears to be virtually unlimited. Though it lacks a defined melting point, thermal decomposition occurs around 225℃ (437℉), well above the temperatures used in food and beverage processing. It exhibits excellent stability over a broad PH range. It may be used with confidence under processing conditions typical, to liquid systems including pasteurization, UHT and HTST.

APPLICATIONS

Acesulfame-k is widely used in various kind of food. Acesulfame-k is the most suitable sweetener for soft beverage because of its stability and good taste; it can be used in such foodstuffs as sweetener: soft drink, chewing gum, instant coffee, instant tea, dairy product analogs, gelatins, pudding desserts, tabletop sweetener and baked food. Acesulfame-k can be also used in medicine and cosmetics, for example, syrup, sugarcoating pius, toothpaster, lip-stick, mouthwasher and similar products.

SHELF LIFE

Two years when container is kept tightly closed and inner bag sealed, and storage conditions are cool and dry, Re-evaluate product after this period.

Standard Packing: 25kgin paper carton or fiber drum, lined with two polyethylene inner bags , fiber pallet, wound with polyethylene film.
